"Above Llangollen"

"Above Llangollen"
Returning home from a leaden-skyed day in north Wales, the light suddenly picked up in the Vale of Llangollen. We headed for the hills towards Glyn Ceiriog.

"Grindsbrook"

"Grindsbrook"
Out walking one frosty November day, from Edale to Kinder Scout, via the alternative routes of the Pennine Way. There was thick fog in the lowlands, and mist in Edale.

Eilean Donan

"Eilean Donan" (or "Castle Kodak" as it's sometimes known)
I've driven past many, many times. This was the only occasion when I felt inclined to stop and take a picture

Cuillins from Sligachan

"Cuillins from Sligachan"
A bit further along the road - after crossing from Kyle of Lochalsh on the late-lamented ferry to the Isle of Skye. This is the classic view for the tourist, taken from the "left over bridge" (as the road sign states....)

"Arisaig"

"Arisaig"
Low light over the sea, with the Sgurr of Eigg prominent in the background

"Kinder Downfall"

"Kinder Downfall"
Same day as "Grindsbrook" above. A tiny part of a landscape-format neg; FP4 developed in something nasty and uprated slightly.....

"Trotternish"

"Trotternish"
on the northern ridge of Skye, one of my favourite places. Taken on a snowy Good Friday from the path to the Quiraing

"Castlerigg"

"Castlerigg"
The stone circle near Keswick, looking south towards Helvellyn

"South Harris"

"South Harris"
A wander around the boglands of the south end of Lewis and Harris. (I've never seen so many empty whisky bottles as on this walk....)

Let me know what you think of these pictures - I might put some more up given sufficient encouragement!
