A ride on a tram The view from the driver's seat. I rode from Derby Castle to Laxey on the open bench beside the driver - and was nearly deafened by the frequent tooting of the whistle as we approached numerous minor roads and paths crossing the line. The video show the stretch through Groudle and beyond.

The 2 number 1s on the MER A rare event - the 2 No. 1s - IMR "Sutherland" paces MER No 1 on the climb to Fairy Cottage near Laxey. After half an hour of sunshine, the squall rushed down the glen - the rain spatters the lens. Less than a minute later the sun shone brightly....
