2968 on the Chester Chuffer   Stanier mogul 2968 hurries up the 1 in 150 of Shifnal bank with the "Chester Chuffer" railtour on 13 December 1997. The distance between the two bridges is about 0.7 miles - so I reckon the train is doing about 64 mph.

Trevithick replica   From the sublime...
The replica of Trevithick's 1802 Pen-y-Darren loco is seen in action on the 4ft gauge plateway (laid between the standard gauge metals in the oil siding) at Ironbridge power station. Ever seen a steam loco being bump-started before? May 1997

2 9Fs at Cranmore   9Fs 92212 and 92203 blast away from the quarry at Cranmore with 16 loaded bogie hoppers (and the Yeoman GM "switcher" for braking only) - about 1700 tons. David Shepherd is seen in the cab of his engine as the train rolls back into the quarry. 27 June 1998
(Please excuse the slight wobbles - hand held, and a swaying fence)
