Part 1 - The Amerton Railway Steam Gala June 2004

  Star attraction at the 2004 Gala was the West Lancs Light Railway's, "Irish Mail", ex-Dinorwic Hunslet (823 of 1903).

Irish Mail is seen

  1. heading the passenger, running anticlockwise

  Resident "Isabel"(Bagnall 1491 of 1897) rumbles along with an interesting "mixed freight"

Part 2 - Rudyard Lake Railway Steam Gala June 2004

  Visiting locomotive "E R Calthrop", a replica (1/3 scale or thereabouts) of the Leek and Manifold original, is seen in action,

Part 3 - Keef and Perrygrove September 2004

"Taffy" works the passenger train at Keef's

"Pixie" reverses around the the curve, then hurries back again, slipping briefly on the gradient

"Spirit of Adventure" climbs steadily to arrive at the top station, Perrygrove

Perrygrove's "Shelagh" (really Ursula) traverses the north loop - the camera (and the train) panning nearly 180˚ in the process.
